One Life's Pilgrimage

Trilogy of One

It stands between two.
It directs, conducts, shuts down, and opens up
It lunges, plunges, dances and prances.

It never stops, or so it seems.

Its the same awake as it is in a dream

It is you.

You choose.

Why is it that in silence you are not amused.

Some have found, and it is rare and truly profound,
A life within equally as entertaining as that
which sighs and sputters on the big and tiny screens
now owning our minds and teaching us how to preen.

We seek to get lost, distraction from feeling seems the goal.

We are the curtain!  We are the veil!

We choose to avoid the intrspection required
to pull back the curtain of self where,
if we dared, we would find a far better form of entertainment
and distraction.

This new entertainment includes colored light, sounds,
and feelings yet to be explored.

The invitation is made.

Close your eyes, expect nothing, and wait.

Do this eavh day without fail.

In time you will be washed in bliss so sweet
you will be knocked off your feet.
